AIR/VAAYU
On arrival at the Ashram, a wooden pergola welcomes visitors to a circular lawn that represents air or vaayu. To the right of the lawn is the reception and to the left is a stone bench, to seat those who come in a quest to seek knowledge and wisdom from the Saptharishis.
Air is all about movement, contact, communication, and the stirring of the human mind. It reflects innocence and vibrancy, the faith in oneself, and belief in ones’ own destiny.
It regulates the lungs, heart, thymus and cell formation in the body. It also controls emotions. Balances temperament and enhances purity of mind and soul.
